The Shoe’s on the Other Foot

Once a strong believer in forcing a sitting president to be questioned by independent counsel and who drafted the section of Kenneth Starr’s report that laid out 11 possible grounds for former President Clinton’s impeachment, the judge, now selected by a president who will most likely face obstruction of justice charges in the near future, believes the president is above the law.

But, the most dangerous opinion this “legal scholar” has is that, based upon a Georgetown Law Center event earlier that year when a moderator had asked the panel that Mr. Kavanaugh was on: “How many of you believe as a matter of law that a sitting president cannot be indicted during the term of office?” Mr. Kavanaugh raised his hand.
